I really feel your pain! It is S...Oh my goodness! I really feel your pain! It is SO hard to make that sort of change and the learning curve is alarmingly steep. Be patient with yourself. It is a huge step(s). Don't worry about the knitting. All knitters start out making less than satisfactory items. Just keep at it a little at a time, getting help when you get the chance. The more you do it, the easier it will become and you will get where you know what you are looking at and can fix your own boo-boos. The best thing I ever did for my knitting was to knit an afghan made up of squares. It gave me tons of over and over practice. There are really good instructive videos on YouTube if you don't have anyone at hand to help you.
